ABA Packaging has signed an agreement to represent Promens Packaging’s ECOsolutions line in the US. The move allows ABA to further enhance its offerings, and it gives Promens Packaging “on the ground” sales and technical support for the line in the U.S. This agreement follows ABA’s move in 2010 to represent OEKAbeauty of Bamberg Germany and their mascara, lipgloss, and lipstick makeup packaging products, and SR Packaging of Taichung Taiwan earlier this year and their lines of PET bottles, PET,PETG and SAN jar packages, PE tubes and unique pump systems.

ABA now offers the new “Bag in Bottle” airless packages along with their stock and custom glass and plastic bottles and jars, tubes and tottles, mascara brushes (wound and molded) and packs, lipgloss applicators (flocked and unflocked) and packs, wood, plastic, and metal caps, airless and treatment packages, fine mist, lotion, and treatment pumps, as well as rollerballs and bulb droppers/pipette dispensing products.

Made entirely in France by Promens, the ECOsolutions Air-Free “bag-In-bottle” airless dispenser and bottle system provides a “green” approach to airless packaging. Made of 100% plastic, this system offers five stock capacities from 50- to 500ml, and provides superior barrier properties to protect the formulas from oxygen and other contaminants. Its unique 4-piece all-plastic dispenser can handle a wide range of product viscosities. To further enhance the eco-friendly value, the outer bottle portion of the system can be made with high percentages of PCR effectively and safely as only the collapsible inner bag or “pouch” contacts the product.

ABA provides complete decorating support, which includes screen and foil printing, heat-transfer and conventional label applications, lacquer and metallized coating applications, and ceramic coatings. In addition, ABA can now offer graphics and design support for those companies lacking these capabilities.
